i'm not hatin', i'm just surprised seeing as a)promotion was absolutely minimal (at least in the uk) and b) it just looks like another generic, bland fantasy adventure for kids

It was actually well above average and not just cos of zooey.

On a related note, has anyone seen the Last Mimzy? That is the trippiest kids film made in years and it's really class.

the trailers for this movie made it seem like it was a fantasy adventure when in fact there was really little of that in the movie.
