Someone stole my package

I ordered some stuff from Gap.com. And it hasn't come yet. So I called Gap.com and they track the package...and, apparently, it was delivered on Wednesday. So I call FedEx...and, yep, it was put in front of my apartment door. BUT I NEVER FUCKING GOT IT! Some fucker took the package. And I've seen the girls who live in this building...they aren't going to be able to wear a size 2. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Gap.com is being super nice and re-sending the whole order to me. But, I still want to know who stole the first package. I've had dozens of packages left at my door before and this has never happened.

I've always wondered if that happened. I worried when I ordered a "personal" item of mine, I was so scared that one of the kids from upstairs was going to take it and open and be like "MOMMY LOOK AT MY NEW TOY! IT BUZZES!"

Luckily we have a screen door and a regular big wooden door, so they shove the packages between the two.

if you spent a decent amount of $$ there shouldn't they be wanting to get a sig before leaving the package anywhere?

When the re-shipment of it gets here, a signature will be required this time around.

As should have been done in the first place. What the fucking fuck hell is wrong with FedEx?! YOu can't ever just leave a package lying around unattended. You can't ever trust people.

Maybe the chicks in your building took your package and sold it or gave it to someone who fits your size. Or returned it to the GAP store for money or an exchange or something.

This is the first time that this has ever happened to me. And the weird thing is that I got a package from J.Crew (yeah, yeah, I wear J.Crew and Gap, shoot me) that same day and they didn't take that one. I put a sign up on each entrance into the building asking that whoever took the Gap.com package please put it back in front of my door, no questions asked. But, I'm sure it's not going to do any good. Oh well. At least Gap.com is going to to resend it all to me.

Strange. Well, maybe the J.Crew one came in at a different time so that it's closer to the time you got home and intercepted it.

Well, it'd be nice if whoever took it gave it back to you so you can have two GAP stuff. : )

Still, people aren't trust worthy. I would never leave anything lying around and not expect it to get stolen. I guess I'm just a city girl or wahtever. Miami is a hostile place, people are assholes, they'll steal anything here.

Hey, if you're paying them money and they're using useless couriers, then that's their own fault and they should be obliged to resend your order. What kind of shipping service just leaves packages around if there's nobody home?

my brother orders shit from gap.com from time to time and they have left leaning against our apt door...which isn't TOO bad because I believe the people in my apartment are a bit more mature than to steal shit from people....but, i guess you can never tell.
one time it was left with our across the hall neighbor and a note was attached to our door telling us so.

i always want the stuff to be delivered properly because alot of the clothes get handed down to me eventually. my brother has lots o money and is a pretty picky person.

that same thing happened to my brother when at his apartment building in chicago. it has happened a twice at two different apartment complexes. one was a birthday package from me with a few DVDs in it.
