Is there anyone who can possibly help me out in aquiring a rom of the sequel to this game. As far as I know it was only released for Sega CD (Mega CD) and was called 'Heart of the Alien'. You got to control the alien friend who helps you out in the original game. I've searched a lot for it and can't find a rom anywhere.
Unless I find a way to play this my mind will addle until I die an insane old man with an incomplete destiny. Thanks. |

Another World was the prequel to Flashback, and it was definitely out on the Amiga and ST (probably PC, and maybe some consoles). I have it on an emulator, I'm not sure if it's an Amiga or an ST one though. I'll put it up somewhere if you want it

Flashback and Fade to Black are prequel > sequel.
Flashback was considered the 'sequel' to Another World, but only in as much as being the developer's (Delphine) second game using the 'rotoscoping' technology for the animations. In terms of characters and story, the two games have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Another World has a sequel and it doesn't seem to be anywhere, www.the-underdogs.org has it up for download, but the file doesn't seem to be on the site. Anybody remember another Delphine game called "Future Wars"? That game was sick too. But I remember getting hopelessly stuck near the beginning.

See? I'm not insane, you get to play the alien guy. This game must be pretty rare and low key. Nobody seems to have even noticed it came out. I sure fucking didn't. |

I read in one of the forum post reviews of Another World, there was a passing reference about how Heart of the Alien was really lame compared to Another World, Flashback, etc...

most of the genesis emulators support sega-cd and 32x.
i'd recommend 'gens': http://www.zophar.net/genesis.html you can probably find the game using kazzalite. |
