Default finding out you dont even exist

ala: dust in the wind

kinda frightening....a little disconcerting.

sure you KNOW you dont exist, but having the harsh realization that everything you know dosent exist either...it's sad.

on a related note i remember an episode of south park where kyle was reading this book about existence and all of a sudden dissapeared because he realized he didn't exist. i love that.

Of course we exist.
My friend sais the only thing she is doing at this point in her life is existing. She's not really *living*, she's just *being*

"It has been said that everything in the universe is fundamentally composed of energy. What we think of as matter is really nothing more than a certain type of energy. And since energy cannot be created or destroyed but merely transferred, some speculate that living beings never truly die. Their life energy is simply returned to the universe in its simplest form."

man stuff like this always sort of creeps me out. maybe because i'm all alone in the dark or something :erm. But yeah, finding out you don't exist....would be kind of nice perhaps. You wouldn't really have anything to worry about if it were true would you? meh.

yeah, but the energy still exists!!!!

what i find really freaky is the fact that everything we perceive through our five senses is never what's REALLY there - like if i was looking at you what i'm seeing is not really you, but the light molecules that reflect from your face into my eyes and get interpreted through my brain's very limited computer. i hate thinking about that shit, what everything is REALLY like vs. what you perceive it as.

what i think is weird.
is that our conscience being is transferred into a mass of energy, and our bodies get transferred into a mass of carbon. and somehow they meet up together to consume each other until they part again. it's a very very very strange circle, and it creeps me out.

but then you have the argument that as soon as someone that 'doesn't exist' creates something, like art, then they have left a footprint of their existance

really? that's a whole lot more comforting than thinking about heaven and hell.

Thumbs up once again, this reminded me of a south park episode

KYLE: Dude, this book says that I don't exist unless I think I do, but what if I don't?!
CARTMAN: Will somebody take those books away from him?
