Basically, if you pick a number in the 20s you end up with 18 (20-2, doesn't matter what the second digit is since it gets subtracted anyway), 30s you get 27, 40s you get 36 etc etc. Look at all these numbers - they all have the same symbol. The symbols change each time to make you think they were always different. Now someone crack the damn Pearls puzzle

pearl II was cracked. you just have two games running side by side. make one go first and translate the moves back and forth. one of them will lose.
