Default How much do you pay in tuition?

Inspired by the university post, how much do you pay in tuition PER YEAR, before scholarship discounts, NOT including books or living expenses? ******* the country, state/province where you go to school, name of school, program of study if it makes a difference in the cost.

i just completed some schooling at a local technical college.

www.htc.mnscu.edu
it cost me roughly $2400/year in tuition. pretty cheap.

i'm going to be going to the university of minnesota soon, and i think the tuition there is somewhere around $4000/year.

I pay roughly $15k in tuition a year. Now, since I'm only taking 4 classes a semester, I estimate it will take about 6 years to graduate!

UC Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, California (duh)

I pay a little over $1400 a quarter, so about $4300 a year, not counting any summer classes.

So are state schools always around $4500 a year? That seems really cheap. I thought most colleges in the US were at least $20,000 a year.

I go to McGill University and my tuition is around $4500.

Most colleges in the US are private, and most are 20k+ a year, whereas large state funded universities are usually cheap if you stay in state.

I'm getting the whole thing for nothing right now at a state school, but next year going private and it'll be roughly $24,000 a year for 2-3 years, followed by a nice 3 yrs at $30,000 each for law school.....debt city USA.

at my last school, tuition was somewhat over $20,000 (not including board, room, and art supplies).
