US immigration is actually not stupid - last time I checked they were requiring a proof of contact and serious relationship/commitment at least one year back. YOU BETTER START SENDING THE LOVE LETTERS BY NOW!

yah I knew a girl who was in the US for college and was dating some dude... they had to get married pretty soon after college so she could get her green card. and as she explained to me, they were required to live together because the immigration people would randomly visit households to make sure the two people were actually cohabitating
