Default Billy one of the gratest songwriters of all times

I was critizising a lot about the policy towards the kids who robbed the Artwork and about the Marketing policy. And i still think that i was right with that.
Billy might be an asshole, i dont know.
But after listening to the album i also have to say that in terms of songwriting and guitar play Billy is still one of the greatest of all times.
I havent heard a songwriting quality of Orchid or Starz (except Paul McCartney: Mr. Belamy) in years. And i listen a lot from the 50s up to the retro rock of now.

There hasnt been a genious songwriter that talented around since Gershwin, Brian Wilson, Lennon/McCartney. Thats for sure.
Just wanted to say thanks for the new songs. (And i will certainly buy the album as well)

Billy is a genius. In this or any era. I still feel he is the most talented musician to come out of the alterna-grunge era of the early 90's. Not that there weren't other top talents to emerge from those days... Jerry Cantrell and Kim Thayill come to mind... but moreso than any other artist at the time, Billy had a clear-cut vision, and he never relented until he executed it (at least until the post-Mellon Collie era...after that, I think he got a little lost).

But he's back now, and I'm very happy to see that the new material is great stuff.

This thread is a joke, but uh, Dylan's lyrics aren't that interesting, I don't like the whole classic songwriter admiration bullshit. Corgan's fallen behind with his lyrics, but he's created some of the best lines ever put to music without a doubt.

Of the 90's? Yeah. Of this decade, let alone all-time? No.
