well it's like he says in the vieuphoria video that he tries not to think about what he's playing while he's drumming.

oh, and then he also says he likes his drums to sound like a small bore sized drill going into your skull

I think the lack of expression back in the day was from his drinking and such...haha. I also remember reading somewhere that he developed some crazy abilities from breaking his arm a long time ago.

I was just watching Vieuphoria the other day. One of my favorite parts is Jimmy's session with the therapist. He's just so fucking likeable.

As with any activity that requires skill, when you've repeated it enough, your brain goes quiet and muscle memory takes over. I imagine that's where the blank expressions come from. It's happened while I've been playing guitar before.

Very cool feeling.

haha... so true, I couldn't stop laughing when he said "I deserve to be respected by you and everyone else" or something to that affect, I think his part was probably even more funny than Billy's, which also made me "laugh out loud".

Happy Birthday JC (and it's so true I think that he's the one pumpkin who everyone loves)
