Didn't really like part 3, but it *does* make part 2 a whole hell of alot better, in my opinion.

The first Pirates is still by far, the best.

it seemed like the first half hour was great, as was the last half hour

everything in between seemed kind of irrelevant

funny though, i really enjoyed the 2nd one......it was a big, dumb hollywood blockbuster that gave us exactly what it should have - mindless action and plenty of it

the 3rd one gave us a plot....wtf?

I haven't even watched 2 yet. I hardly ever watch films made in the past 10 or so years.

three was good. i agree with everyone that its better than 2. the only problem with 3 is all the double crossing n what not. got confusing.

It didn't make any sense. Everyone has their own little agenda that isn't really adequately explained. I doubt I'd pay to see a fourth movie (which the end sets up for).

I give it a C+ for decent action and effects.

And yeah, Keira Knightley is too skinny.

I say, bring on Transformers, Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix and The Simpsons Movie already.

(someone was badmouthing the Transformers trailer before Pirates. They can go to hell.

it's more enjoyable definitely if you've seen the first 2 before seeing this one, as opposed to 2 where you could just jump in and not worry about it. a lot of inside stuff, i went with someone who hadn't seen the first one and he completely kept up with the 2nd, but another person who hadn't seen the first 2 and saw the 3rd and she was kinda confused. that would make sense, as 2 and 3 are pretty interconnected.

loved it though, id love to see it again.
