Matt Bellamy of Muse sounds much more like Jeff Buckley than Thom Yorke, IMHO. And both Thom and Matt claim Jeff Buckley as an influence on their vocals. I don't think it's such a huge deal that they have similar voices...the music of both bands are in two totally separate realms.

I really don't understand most of the Radiohead comparisons, either. Yes, part of The Bends incorporates classical progressions and structure occasionally, but that and the similarity of Yorke and Bellamy's voice alone is not enough to justify people calling Muse a Radiohead cover band.

Some of Muse's compositions get tiring after a while (you can only play on the harmonic minor scale for so long), but I find they stand out in amongst the Brit rock storm that hit a few years ago.
