Personally, I would guess that "just plain sexual" is for people who don't want to commit themselves to one of the options. I think it's hard for a 90% straight person to say they're bi. It is for me at least, because by all technicality I'm straight but I wouldn't be opposed to going out with girls if the right ones were around. Therefore I'm "just plain sexual" more than bi or straight or whatever. But I didn't select it because I don't mind specifically categorizing myself.
