and some...new guy cuts in telling me that it was the dumbest idea for a tattoo ever. we asked him if he had any tattoos.
they were the chinese symbols for "truth" and "love" i think he thinks he's in an action movie or something. |

HA HA HA. TRUE STORY. When I worked at this Chinese restaurant, these two girls came in. They both had tattoos, I think it said something about best friends or something, or so they thought. They came up to the waiters at the resteraunt, b/c they were Chinese. They asked them to read their tattoos. And I think it translated to something totally different, insinuating that they were gay or something. ![]() |

TRUE STORY:
My ex's friends ex girlfriend. (Think about that one first- mmmkay?) Yeah. she goes on a trip to Japan and wanted a tattoo of something in script on her as a momento. She spoke no Japanese and she was giving the guy attitude for not speaking much English. He did the tattoo, she didnt' tip him. She left. A year later, she's on teh beach, showing it off, and some Japanese guys walk up to her and start laughing. The tattoo artist wrote "Pork Fried Rice" on her. hahaha ALWAYS ALWAYS be nice to the dude with the ink gun! |

but its in Elvish, and my best friend is a major tolkien fag, so- he actually knows what he's talking about. anyway, around my wrists i'm getting: "The Child Is Grown" and "The Dream Is Gone". Bah. There is meaning behind it- it's related to my father...just...executed in a cooler way. |

aww getting a tattoo in memory of your dad is a really nice idea. and stuff like that is cute, it's just the people getting the generic "peace" "love" "woman" etc. symbols that pisses me off. i love tattoos so much.
