I loved Granny Smith as a child, but I've grown to enjoy the sweeter side of apples than the sour... My preference is Gala.

Come to think of it, the switch from sour to sweet probably happened when I started eating apples and cheese. Granny Smith is cut out for apples and peanut butter... But not apples and cheese
