i was at baja fresh getting some lunch, i just ordered my food to go so as i was waiting, i saw this guy. he was a bit shorter than me and real large. and his hair wasn't really cut that much and he had glasses and a straggly bunch of whiskers, and he had a tshirt and pants and sneakers and stuff, he was probably my age. he looked like the nicest guy ever.

well he recognized four guys behind him in line and said hi. they just sort of nodded hello, they were all dressed real nice and tall and thin and nice haircuts and all that. so when those guys sat down, this guy stood near their table, since he clearly knew them. they didn't ask him to sit down or anything. so he just stood there sipping on his soda listening to the convo i guess. i tried not to stare cause that'd be rude.

then he went to pick up his stuff, he also got food to go. after he got his stuff, he walked back over to the table and said 'see ya, guys' and waved, and they barely even acknowledged him and then he went away.

that really bothered me, man. a lot. i had stood next to this guy in line, he didn't smell or anything, and he really appeared to be a nice dude, he just wanted to interact with people, and these jerkoffs coudln't be bothered.

that really brought me down.

some lady in the checkout line at walgreens left her shopping cart in line while she went to get more stuff. the line in front of the shopping cart was moving and thought about what i should do. the guy behind me kind of looked at me and i kind of went 'so...uh......" and we both just skipped ahead.

i saw him in the parking lot a minute later and i waved to him. he didn't see me but i wondered if it was strange to do that.

my friend does this shit to people all the time it drives me nuts

like one of my friends was in one of his classes and she was telling me how he would give her the cold shoulder all the time. i don't know if it was a superiority thing or what, because she is pretty cute, but god damn i don't understand why you wouldn't just say hello to someone you recognize

people who ignore me when i wave to them (so long as i make eye contact) get put on my assassination list.

I was at the supermarket today picking up a couple of things, and I was in the line behind a couple of people. I was looking at some sign or other while I waited, and the guy in front of me noticed I wasn't holding much and said 'hey, you want to go ahead of me?' That was cool, then the people in front of HIM did the exact same thing and I got to the cashier in seconds and said wow, it really is christmas.

Then when I paid I said 'thanks guys' which was kinda awkward, since I was really talking to the people next to me and some dude further away at the same time
