My honest suggestion and opinion? It sounded like an awesome chance that got passed by. However, it doesn’t change that the opportunity has passed. There were some before, I’m sure, and there will be others afterwards. If anything, take a lesson from this so you don’t avoid next wasting another chance in the future. But aside from that: No point worrying now. Sure, it seemed nice and ideal and that sucks, but honestly, it’s passed, so take what you can from it and don’t let it sit inside you, or you’ll just beat yourself up with regret, and regret is a pretty pointless emotion.

well yeah, that's why I still have to think about it. She managed not to earn a single negative point in my mind during the whole 6+ hour long encounter. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before - there's always something you don't like - no one meets their perfect ones IRL.

i don't think there's much you can do right now, but when you come back you can try to find the school. of all the replies in this thread i like what maggie said, because you know, 'maybe that's the way it was supposed to happen', maybe there was some reason why you didn't ask for her number, so that you'd feel like an idiot right now, and reassess your priorities... ?

i have her in my msn but i never talk to her. maybe if she would come around or i would visit Spain... i'm way over it though. it sucked at the time, but there's other major heartbreak drama now...

same thing sort of happened to me on my honeymoon. really cute british girl was on the cruise ship with her family. we hit it off on a snorkeling outing, and occasionaly bumped into each other on the ship. but then when the honeymoon ended i never saw her again. should have got her e-mail address. she was a physical therapist
