how many people watched the game the first time around on tv? can you give me a number? because now that it's a bowl, i think that number will be a bit higher.
Ratings will be about the same regardless, I think. But I will only watch because I am a college football fan. I would not be at all happy about it.

I despise the Big Ten and regularly jack off all over the SEC.

What? I'm not bitter about anything. I really hate the Big Ten. Always have. And I love the SEC. Always have.

where's the bitterness?

suze, please shut the fuck up k thanks. of course we're bitter me and E watched the SEC all year long and were treated to a level of college football that far exceeded anything on a week to week basis. Fully five of the top ten games I saw this year were SEC games. While I hate Ohio State with a burning passion that I feel deep in my soul, they are the best team in the country. However, Michigan has absolutely NO right to demand a remach for the title since we already had a game to decide who was better three weeks ago. Florida probably won't be held out of the national championship game, based on the AP and Coaches polls already saying Florida is #2.

But, since you don't follow football or know anything about it I might as well be typing this in Swahili.

You know that no one in the south gives a fuck about either of your teams. There's a poll on ESPN.com right now that really shows you a regional breakdown of who gives a flying fuck about Michigan playing OSU in a rematch or Florida taking OSU on for the first time this year. The ENTIRE South wants Michigan to go fuck itself. in fact, your state votes 68% for Florida so what the fuck are you talking about on behalf of all your Ohio State fans that you don't watch games with.

I mean really. God.l\

did you watch any SEC games all year? there are games of that caliber on a weekly basis. They just aren't pummelled into everyone's heads by the ESPN/ABC hype machine.

And the South notoriously knows what's best for the whole country and sets the North straight. Why, just consider George W. Bush as an example!

But seriously, link? I can't find this anywhere on ESPN's site. Yahoo has a poll that's going 53-47 for Michigan, but no regional breakdown.

The South knows football, pal. It's no accident that the SEC is heads and shoulders above the rest of the country.

Besides, I was arguing on the false idea that there are more people that want to see OSU-UM again than OSU-UF, because it's actually 51-49 with distinctly regional lines.

ive seen a few games, but that game is the first that comes to mind. you guys probably know a lot more about it than me, perhaps florida gives osu a better challenge, but if it ends up being that rematch i know i will watch. ill watch either way, but the casual college football fan is probably with me when they'd be hoping for a rematch.

Who cares about what the casual fan thinks? Casual fans are even more subject to the media because they pick their games on the base of what's big news. Which is why you watched the much hyped OSU-UM game rather than LSU and Florida, Auburn and Florida, Arkansas and Florida, etc.
