i fucking hate the word luck. luck doesnt exist; things happen or they dont. there is no whimsical fairy out there deciding what things happen to which people.

Fuck Brady Quinn. I call him "Joey Harrington Jr." He'll have a Harrington-like career if the Lions draft him.

As for the first suggestion...good idea, but I refuse to buy something related to the Dallas Cowboys.

I hope the titans try to trade for WR Roy Williams. OH MAN. Lets' reassemble Texas in Tennessee!

There aren't really any good QBs coming out of this draft class...Troy Smith is a low 1st rounder at best, I'm not sold on Quinn at all...Russell is probably the best of the bunch, but he's erratic. If Michigan plays LSU in the Rose Bowl (which I'm hoping), I'll learn a little bit more about him.

The Lions need O-Line, D-Line, LB and CB help before they need a new QB, though.

the only reason i say russell is because he has a never-say-die attituded which will translate to the nfl when he gets schooled on accuracy for a couple years.

But yeah, there are no wonderkind QBs coming out this year.

Hey, the Titans can lay off Roy...he and his "FIRST DOWN" poses are the only thing worth watching on the Lions.

Just for you, Trotsky:

You can't coach accuracy. Just ask Brian Billick about than in regards to Kyle Boller.

I think it's really difficult to judge NFL success based on a college career. But Brady Quinn doesn't throw picks. Either his receivers are going to catch it, or no one's going to catch it. And I think that gives him a pretty good starting point. He's more elusive than most pure pocket passers too. I'd take him if I needed a QB, for sure.

It's still possible to keep balls out of reach of anybody, regardless of how good the corners are. I'm not saying he'd be a great QB in the NFL right now, but I really do think that after a year or two, he'll be solid. He's a smart draft pick.

Bengals, Ravens, Colts, Patriots all have a much better chance than the Broncos.

God I hope the Ravens win. I'm in for $20 on a 40-1 preseason pick. It would make my year to pick up a cool $800 on a hunch.

I'm not sold on any of the NFC teams; maybe NO.

AFC, go for Baltimore, make decent case for SD + Indy.

So Ravens over Saints.

Yeah that's right! The NFC sucks so it's gotta be the team with something to play for.
