It's a fucking huge sink - think more, basin. I'd have to run it for a good couple of minutes to get a decent depth of water to wash in.

Also, we lost the plug and for some fucking reason it seems to be a non-standard size, as every other plug we try doesn't hold the water in the sink.

Like I said, there's only one sink in the whole house with two taps/faucets/"spickets"/uteruses (uteri?!)/whatever. The rest are standard.

The hot water system in our house is not mains pressure, but instead gravity powered - the tank is in the roof - and so it's pretty piss fucking weak. Temperature is cranked right up so showers aren't completely fucked - although, they are fairly horrible at the moment - so you get a bit of cold thru the hot tap, then it warms up over about a minute, and then all of a sudden it's FUCK OFF hot.

i've always washed my hands with warm water..

when its really really cold and you wash your hands with hot water, they get really numb and start to hurt..

I think i'm giving myself arthritis.

nothing creeps me out more that warm water making contact with my hands in a sink.

it always happens at work. i turn on the cold but a little bit of warm water comes out at first. makes me wonder who the creep who used the bathroom before me was.

Hmm I wash my hands often and we have the seperated taps. I actually like cold water though so I don't mind. I take cold cold showers all the time. I should also cut my finger nails soon.
