when i was in america i noticed the toilets flush differently, like everything gets sucked out all at once, then it refills. in australia the water level stays the same thoughout the flush cycle.

I had to pay a visit in france once, and i was greeted with something like this, i didnt really know what to do with it, i mean, without being too graphic; how do you actually use this?
