I'm doing it again. I always see threads about it so I figured to make my own. It's quite unremarkable though. I guess some people find suffecient thrill in being quietly rebellious or something.

I can't post from work, they monitor us way too closely. One of my coworkers got written up for surfing eBay so I'm basically restricted to checking my email, which is probably a good thing.

I always board from work. But then my job usually isn't really work.

I'm just waiting on the company that bought us out to realize this and shut us down. If it doesn't happen till the summer I'll be stoked.

I don't, I tried to explain it in my rap but that seemed to have failed. See there is this program called "work experience" set up by the government. It's for student's finishing year 10 and thus oficially finishing their compulsary schooling. Year 11 and 12 is only for if you want to get your UAI to go to a university (the highest form of teriary education here). All it is is you find som eplace to work for a week and it goes on your record and when oyu seek employment later in life you're always asked "where did you do work experience" or something.

Anyway I tried to get my work expereince in five different places. The first was my dad's company which is an engineering firm by the name of GHD. Then I tired some observatory in the country which my mom tried to get me into via a contact. The third place I got rejected from was the CSIRO physics labs real close by in lindfield, the fourth was the maths department in sydney uni and finally the local vet clinic wouldn't have me either. So as a last resort I asked my school library if I could be their librarian. So that is my job for this week.

I think really it's to encourage kids to stay in school those two extra years so they get their UAI or atleast to do a TAFE course or something. Cause you're not going to find a good job for work experience and it's a good measure of the kind's of jobs you can find with only a school certificate as your qualification. Even the guys who end up in a law firm or something just have to do photocopying or some crap.

2PM, I'm at home now.

I learnt a lot today. I found out my school has a mother's club! Can you beleive that a mother's club. It was all like "Well my Charles is now leading a research team of doctors over in Germany, they're curing muscular distrophy" and then the next lady would say "Yes, well my Geoffery is now president of his public speaking club and he's only in year 8" then the next one would say "My daughter just got a scholarship in britain".

What a cesspool of gossip that place is. But I dunno maybe that's what all old wel-to-do women are like and they're responsible for these movers and shakers. I'm still uncomfortable with a bunch of people on a table effectively deciding the future's of young lives.
