BTW: Liquid dairy freezes perfectly. In The Northwest Territories, they deliver milk to your doorstep in frozen discs. If you like eggnog, bring it close to frozen, then blenderize it to a shake. Fantastic.

my dad said when they used to deliver his milk in glass bottles in the minnesota winter, if you didnt take it in right away it would freeze and push up a push-pop like snake of frozen cream out of the top back when the bottle's lids were still pog-like. the way the milk settled before freezing, the cream was always on top, so they were automatic desserts
