a bit of an oldie - its a '97 - but its all mine.
its a mazda 323F.
a friend of my folks' was selling it and its in really great condition, very clean and drives real well. im not sure how it goes with mileage but here we measure it with km - its done 130,000 so far, which is really low considering its 10 years old.
also, theres a kickass stereo at my disposal to pop some noise.
yeah i know the thing on the steering wheel is moot, i still havent decided if its hilarious enough to keep or ugly enough to throw the fuck out.

im not sure if it seems insane to you or not, but i live in israel (horseflyking, check out the license plates

) and cars are fucking overpriced here like you wouldnt believe.
take your average car - it costs about two times more here.

Since the seasons are 'backwards' down there, I always wondered if Australians called the hot season Summer and the cold season Winter, or if it was just hot in the Winter and cooler in the Summer.

man, ive read some cars that are totally out of reach for the great majority of the people here are totally accessible in the us.
customs and importing and all that shit inflates the prices on cars here to a frustrating level.
for example, how much would a new audi a6 go for in the us?
here a dude would have to pay around 70 grand, man.

It only kinda seems insane if you are living there by choice. What's the story there?

I like the car. Tint the windows and put some nice rims on it.
