Unhappy So I got food poisoning last night/this morning.

God, fuck. Worst night ever. I kept throwing up about every half hour or so. I lost count at 14 times. By the end, all I could taste was stomach acid. I keep pooping liquid too. I can't believe I'm alive.

last time that happened to me, i woke up at 5:00 a.m. and thought i was going to have explosive diarrhea....so i went to the bathroom, but i had no luck. so i stand up, get to the door, turn around, cough, ad watch as a fully-formed piece of lettuce flies out of my mouth. i run back over to the toilet and proceed to violently vomit for about a half hour.

and then i threw up every hour or two for the next 12 hours. the mere thought of eating or drinking anything made me feel sick. and i was on vacation! but the next day, i felt perfectly fine and went skiing.

yeah, food poisoning is horrible. I got it once while camping, pretty much the one place you don't want to be when you get sick like that. I was lying in the tent with a cold sweat and it was humid inside but freezing and raining outside. Go easy on your stomach for awhile and you should be fine.

I had food poisoning and threw up for hours and hours, and then had to get on the El and take a flight. Horrible. HOWEVER, the best thing ever that settled my stomache once and for all was Coca-Cola. Not water, not 7-Up, they just give more to puke. Coke really does the trick. Everytime.

The only time I've had honest to god food poisoning I ate something rancid and went to sleep. About two hours into the night I woke up sweating through my sheets with crazy tripvision pixelation and borderline hallucinations. I spent the next 12 hours exploding. It was sweet (not really).

Yeah stomach acid is usually sour as opposed to sweet. I think there's something about poultry and food poisoning, I got it when I ate some chicken drumsticks my family bought from the local supermarket. We all got sick: mom dad and myself.

Some advice, don't drink water. In my case it made me keep throwing up. Don't get me wrong, I know you need fluid. But not water. Get something like powerade or gatorade, they have electrolytes too and they're supposed to really help.

Food poisoning and hangovers are the worst combo ever. It's like you can't stop puking.

That's actually really common with footballers or football fans around here cause after a game or something they like to go to bars and get drunk (as I can imagine is the case with most sporting events anywhere) but then afterwards they will go and buy middle eastern food, mainly in the form of kebabs, and as a generalization the places that sell them are usually really dirty and unhygenic.
