that guy reminds me of Ryan Renolds, another horrible unfunny frat boy type. Though granted i hate Van Wilder more than any stand up Dane Cook has done.

Van Wilder is total crap. When that movie tried to be serious it really started to suck hard. More comedies should make like Anchorman or Mel Brooks parodies and not be serious ever.

van wilder i think is the worst movie i have ever seen. ok, maybe tied with that 2nd Broken Lizard movie Club Dread.

eh, i dont think van wilder was that serious, really.

a lot of good comedies have some romantic subplot in there.

Anchorman has romantic sub-pot. Young Frankenstein has a romantic sub-plot. Neither of those romantic sub-plots are even remotely serious.

I don't think Ryan Reynolds is particularly funny either but he sure is nice to look at.

He was hilarious in Waiting...anyone who's worked in a restaurant will appreciate that movie.

i didn't think it was particularily harmful, but i didn't enjoy it. Did you ever get around to watching the Philadelphia Story?
