I have never seen a team that bad win as many games they should rightly lose. GT, MSU, and UCLA all outplayed them. I'm almost ready to go Catholic; they have to have something going for them.

i can't get in to them because it just seems like a chore learning a bunch of names and teams and stuff. i cant imagine caring. occasionally ill find myself watching a game and that's not so bad. it's actually pretty tolerable when it's a social event with unhealthy food involved. all that really bothers me is that sports fandom is treated like it's manly and macho when it's really as bad as being really into the yugioh card game. stuff that im not into sort of annoys me a little but stuff that i find dumb that's widely accepted bothers me more. for example, i havent felt nearly as annoyed by nimrods son since people started to turn on him recently

basically because my dad hates them, too. he at least was into baseball to some degree, but whatever he had to say about spectator sports while i was growing up was negative.
he didnt like that i and my older brother played football, either. it usually competed for time with studies and scouting which he spent and spends a lot of his time in. he never came to any of our games but i dont think it ever bothered us since my older brother was a benchwarmer for 4 years and i never was into it beyond doing something to be strong and make friends and quit halfway through sophomore year |
