when i was a kid i went to see a concorde jet at christchurch airport. it reminded me of that dinosaur space shuttle autobot

Business class = ok.

"normal" = 22 hours of hell. or more.

Hey so did I, it was ~15 years ago.

Never_Nohen, I lived in Christchurch for a number of years and I will be there next weekend but I'm not there at the moment. Would have been pretty cool to meet a Netphorian. I also could have made $1000 from Liquid J but never mind.

I spent 20 hours on flights and it wasn't that bad. Especially Boeing 777 provides enough space that I could normally stretch all the way. And you can manage to read a lot during that time as well - or the best thing is if the person next to you is cool and interesting, too. Or if you fly over Greenland and the North Pole -that rocked!
