Default LaRouche?

Ok so I got this so called "newspaper" called "THE NEW CITIZEN" which claims to be the official publication of the Federal Registered Political Party, "Citizens Electoral Council of Australia"

Which is fair enough. So I start reading it and I notice that, well, it's extremely unconventional and keeps referring to some kind of villianous group as the "oligarchy" and some kind of leader as "LaRouche".

Now, just out of curiosity, I went on wikipedia and searched LaRouche and saw that he was a real person and actually looked respectable and accomplished some respectable things. I also noticed that he uses very extreme methods in what he does and some aspects of his methods (youth movement) are very similar to fascist dictators and such.

Another thing of note is that he is American and attempts to run for American presidencey as part of the Democratic party.

From reading the article here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politic...yndon_LaRouche I see that he has some merit in his thinking and he really doesn't look like the type thats a total nut. So seeing as I don't know much about politics or for that matter economics (just my 10th grade education) I was just wondering if this guy is a total nutcase or just really misunderstood.

LaRouche has been around for decades. He thinks Queen Elizabeth is behind a vast international drug ring.

He's got my vote.

Yeah I ended up going as so far as to watching a conference by the guy.

He has some things to say. He has a great (atleast convincing) economic model and he's right that all the world's great scientists are dead and we're not really doing anything about it. But it's obvious that he suffers from some kind of schizophrenia or if he doesn't, is far too sensationalist for his own cause.

Far out I mean rofl @ at that Queen Elizabeth behind a drug ring

Also woo!! Australian republic woo!!!

I think I voted for Larouche in a mock election in high school for the 1992 presidential election

Yeah, he says that like, science has really taken a backseat in politics these days, mainly due to todays social make up and the result that scientific minds just aren't getting developed like they used to be.

And he's right there. Science has taken a full backseat in politics. No one ever votes for anyone based on scientific funding or knowledge these days.
