Default new a perfect circle/where's tool?

what does everyone think about the new members of a perfect circle? [danny from nin and twiggy from mm, i believe] i, personally, am kind of excited to hear the new sound. i don't think it will be unpleasantly different, seeing as how billy howerdell and maynard are still there.

but i sure will miss troy.

and what happened to tool??? i hear rumors that maynard refuses to make any more albums with his band because 'the world will end soon anyway'. so i just don't know. but that does sound very maynard...

I'm interested in how the new members will add to the overall sound but beyond a mild interest I'm just hoping for a new Tool album.

Well, it's not like Tool's gonna be putting out an album anytime soon. Be prepared to wait a few years.

And I'm predicting that APC will stay pretty much the same. It's all Billy anyway.

I didn't say anything about soon, I just hope Tool doesn't call it quits before they make another album. I think the new A Perfect Circle album will sound the same, I'm just wondering if either of the new members might change the live performances for better or worse.

Something about the last tour just pissed me off. For some reason, I always got a 'the joke is on you' feeling at those shows. Maybe it was because they couldn't be bothered to change their damn setlist on a three leg tour.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.

I heard Danny Carey was doing a project with Les Claypool and Robert Fripp. Frankly, I'm more interested in that than APC or Tool.

yes. i too wasn't fond of that. The last show in long beach had absolutely nothing special thrown in. Same fuckin set sans 46&2.
