I have been told on many occasions that not only is Chauncey cute, he is also the best behaved little fellow, the most relaxed little dog, and many girls want to kidnap him. I can take him anywhere and he will never do anything bad except maybe get in the trash. He's seriously frucking awesome. I wish I could take a picture of him. He is the best thing that ever happened to my life. I can't believe there was a time when I wanted to be rid of him.

You should see him run. It's seriously fucking hilarious.

i think the % of male dog owners that own the dog in part for the interactions it provides wiht females, whether they're honest with themselves about that fact or not, is probably somewhere around 45%

"In part" you own a dog for a lot of reasons. But it's mostly because you love the dog, I would think. Otherwise you're not a good dog owner.

hmm... well, given that i said 'in part', i think the % should be higher.

take it a step further -- those who have opportunities for interaction with females being the PRIMARY motivation of owning a dog, when speaking strickly about the male dog owners who LIVE IN CITIES, i bet the % is something like 60%.

I think that's a little harsh of you, I mean ladies do love dog owners because it shows tenderness and responsibility are qualities of the man who owns it. Like I said before, in an edit, if the primary reason you own a dog is not because you love it then you have no business being a dog owner.

i think a lot of guys in their thirties and up get a dog in this city cause they're lonely (and prefer the company of a dog to a woman in their past) and it helps them talk to different females and they end up genuinely liking and caring for the dog, and end up being pretty good dog owners

I kept Chauncey because I felt sorry for him. I did try to get rid of him at first but he was so helpless and his old owner used to beat him. It probably seems stupid to say this but I needed something to live for.

my friend did that with a bunch of dogs. Does he shy away when other people pet him? Does he constantly have his tail between his legs?

your dog is fricking adorable. I used to live with a lab, and they are hilarious and sweet.

You know talking about your dog like this makes a little piece of me actually think you're a good guy deep down inside.

Glad to hear you and your dog are happy
