Do you think drinking can cure a cold?

Sometimes when I feel like I am getting a cold (not a serious one) I will go out and get pretty drunk, and then the next day my cold is gone.

Is this just a coincidence or has anyone else noticed this?

i know brandy is good for clearing up your sinuses...but that's the only benefit of drinking when having a cold that i have heard of

okay because my throat hurts. actually it might be the back of my tongue becuase it kinda hurts to move it around. anyway I want to get drunk tonight off of screwdrivers. the OJ will at leastp rovide some vitamin C.

I dont feel bad in any other way though, just the sore throat. I'm eating some hot chili for lunch and its making it feel better
