Does sunscreen expire?

Yes. Some sunscreen preparations actually have expiration dates printed on the label. In the absence of this information, one should throw out any sunscreen that is over 3 years old.

i've used sunscreen that was lord-knows-how-old before, without any problems. be daring. use it.

i think this is as good as a place as any to state my disappointment of the Peter Thomas Roth clinical skincare oil-free sunblock spf 30 fragrance-free with moisturizers micellized vitamin a and anti-oxidant micellized vitamin e for all skin types. this shit is NOT non comedogenic. or comedogenic i guess. FUCKING overpriced piece OF shit!!

now here's the question -- i've got two tubes of coppertone oil free waterproof NON COMEDOGENIC sunscreen spf 15 taht won't clog pores or cause breakouts.

one is probably one year old, the other is probably two yeras old. and i've got no idea which is which. i can't go by the amount of product in each, since it is nearly identical.

i'm tempted to pick the one with fewer scratches on the surface of the bottle, but they weren't stored in similar environments. one was in a suitcase and the other in a crowded drawer. the lables are identical. FUCK

I found sunscreen in the back of a closet once and it had an expiry date of 10 years prior. I opened it up and it poured out like watery milk, plus it had a pungent aroma

on one of the bottles there is a print that says 1J479 and on the other bottle is says 2H578.

1 < 2
J > H
4 < 5
7 = 7
9 > 8

it's all so terribly confusing. FUCK
