Thumbs down

Fucking Gamestop finally handed over my copy of Ocarina Master Quest after I plunked down another $10 of reserve money for it after they told me a month ago that $5 would get me a copy of it.

At least I only have to pay $35 when The Wind Walker comes out.

Yeah, corporate really fucked us over with that deal. Several weeks after we start taking preorders for Zelda, we get an e-mail that now people have to have $15 down instead of $5 and that nobody could get their bonus disc if they didn't have at least 15 down. Now I can understand why they insist on $15 down instead of the usual $5. It's to prevent people from paying 5 bucks for the bonus disc who have no intentions of actually buying The Wind Waker. But to tell us this after we've already taken dozens of preorders is just utter bullshit. Oh well. It's all worth it in the end. The bonus disc is pretty cool and the new Zelda is fucking amazing.

The new Zelda drops on 3/24. The bonus disc is a premium you get for pre-ordering the new Zelda (at participating retailers). It contains the N64 classic "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" as well as a remixed version of Ocarina called Master Quest. I hope that brings you up to speed.

No the graphics are the same. The puzzles are different (and harder). And there are some new enemies. It's like for people who are really good at OoT. Hence the name Master Quest.
