i agree. but at the same time some people have crossed the line and gone from simply "speaking out against an entity" and started spouting neo-nazi BS. I'm talking about the people who are spouting the Zionist conspiracies and "the jews control the media". The US media done anything but put a rosy spin on this Lebanon situation. So while we should wholeheartedly object to what Israel is doing right now, let's refrain from the Farrakahn speeches.

Where is this bias in the media concerning Israel coming from? I work crazy hours so the only news I get to see (we have no cable) is BBC news on pbs at night and sometimes the noon news which highlights national news... and there is nothing but pictures upon pictures of women and children crying and saying death to Israel, and how terrible and ruthless they are. What news are you watching that has been sympathetic to Israel?

The US caused outrage in the UK last week when 2 large transport jets landed to refuel at Prestwick airport (near my home) filled with bunker bombs for Israel.

I don't see what right the US has to operate in this way. And as much of a brown noser as Tony Blair is, I don't see why the US should think it reasonable to use the UK as a 51st state in the way that it does. When US government officials were asked about this incident, they didn't seem to understand why it caused a problem. America is acting out of order by supporting Israel in the way that it is and it shouldn't expect unconditional support from other countries.

If the US considered sorting out it's own problems before stuffing it's nose into everyone elses, the world would be a better place.
