Oh man Jhonen Vasquez is coming to Chicago Comics

What should I get signed?!?!!!

I mean I really would like to get my JTHM trade paperback signed because even though that would be so typical, it's really my favorite piece of work - and the book itself has some meaning since an exfriend of mine tried to steal it - god knows why. But it was rescued and now is back in my posession.

But then again I really think I Feel Sick would be cool to get signed simply because it's in such good condition and I love Devi - I mean god, who doesn't?

i met him at the.. 2000? comicon. he was soooo cute. and perching on his chair like nny does in the window - with boots and all. dude. *swoon*
he drew me a cat (uh.. strange beaver creature that is..) for the cover of my cat book (signatures in the form of drawings of cats). very sweet and amicable.

and did i say he was cute?

Mark's going to come with and get one of our Invader Zim dvd signed too...that would be neat.

I'm not much on getting autographs but this is the man.

why's he doinga signing? is he on a signing tour or just one of the faces showing up for something?

wait.. there's a con going on right now, isn't there... is chicago comics a store? I KNOW NOTHING

Well Wizard World was this past weekend (poor AndySlash had no idea and was staying in a hotel near there and got caught up in the mess of people) - so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I didn't even think about the comic con this year so I dunno if he was there or not...but I doubt he'd just be hanging out for a few weeks...so I really dunno. I'm on SLG's livejournal community and they just made an announcement about it - no details other than he's going to be there and the poster will probably be there for purchase.

I just checked the site and he wasn't at the con - and yeah Chicago Comics is a store. I used to be walking distance to it!
