Something is wrong with me, guys.

I'm never hungry anymore. I used to eat two enormous meals every day, with occasional snacking in between. But I was pretty much always hungry. I'd need an hour or so to recover after each meal, but I'd be ready to go soon after.

Lately, I've been eating one average-sized meal a day. And I just don't want to eat anymore. I had a nutri-grain bar this morning, and I'm not hungry for the lunch I have to go to in a half hour.

Food is my favorite thing in the world. This is really unsettling!

the same thing has been happening to me, im getting a little worried about it. i think ive lost like 20 pounds in the past 6 months or so.

but wouldn't that involve a conscious decision to not eat and to avoid eating when hungry?

i actually tried to look up the definition and symptoms, but my comp froze because i think i have a virus.

one of my friends got diagnosed with it just recently, she had just stopped feeling hungry. i dont think you need to consciously avoid eating when hungry to have anorexia, if you just start developing habits not to eat as much you could have it too.

its rare, but even if you're diagnosed with it, i think you can gradually kick it by slowly trying to raise your eating habits.

You can only eat so many meals before it's just not all that appealing anymore . How old are you? Multiply how many days you've been alive by how many meals you eat on average and you'll start to see my logic. I mostly eat out of habit these days. Sure, I snack frequently on chips and chocolate and shit, but much of the luster has billowed off into the ether. It's all habitual now.

um, there are some illnesses that cause anorexia and it's not like choosing to be anorexic or about thinking that you're fat. my best friend died from a disease where it was one of the symptoms. but she was always very thin/light eater so it wasn't really apparent that she was becoming ill.

An hour or so to recover after a meal? Seriously? Maybe you're just not as active as you once were and your metabolism is slowing down or something. I don't know but I wouldn't worry about it unless you stop eating completely.
