Fantasy Football Dilemma- Advice sought

So, I'm in a keeper league, and we're expanding this year, meaning instead of two keepers, we pick one player to be locked, and two others to 'keep'. In the expansion draft, the two new teams have free reign to pick any player that isn't locked. If one of my 'keeper' picks is not selected in the expansion draft, I have to let one keeper go back into the draft pool. Seeing as my friend is one of the new teams, I have a feeling he's going to take one of my players so he doesn't have to step on anyone else's toes as much.

This was my roster last year:

Delhomme, Jake CAR QB
Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB
Dillon, Corey NEP RB
James, Edgerrin ARI RB
Jones, Thomas CHI RB
Lewis, Jamal BAL RB
Chambers, Chris MIA WR
Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR
Johnson, Chad CIN WR
Porter, Jerry OAK WR
Clark, Dallas IND TE
Gates, Antonio SDC TE
Elam, Jason DEN PK
Bengals, Cincinnati CIN Def
Colts, Indianapolis IND Def

I have to decide who to lock/keep between Edgerrin James, Chad Johnson, and Larry Fitzgerald. I suppose Jamal Lewis, Thomas Jones, Chris Chambers, and Antonio Gates, even, could be considered as well, but I've pretty much discarded them from contention. I'm hitting myself for trading Ronnie Brown away last year (he wasn't playing for me at all, though, and wouldn't have, and I needed some help in DEF and WR), but on the other hand he'd be another player in this convoluted situation.

So what say you, wannabe fantasy gurus?

How many teams will be in the league?

I'd def. consider Gates. There are about 3 TE in the league worth anything.

Going from 8 to 10 teams.

I should say, I'm currently thinking of locking Fitzgerald, and keeping James and Johnson. Should I somehow avoid having James or Johnson taken from me, I'm almost certain I'd HAVE to keep James to have a decent start at RB.

It looks like you are a bit thin at RB, so I would probably lock Edge. I would then keep Fitzgerald and Johnson. I could be talked into locking Fitzgerald, though.

That's another thing- I HATE having two key players on the same team, unless it's a QB/WR, but even then I'm wary. Having James and Fitzgerald isn't an idea I'm terribly fond of, but it might be unavoidable.

it is def. going to hurt his running numbers w/ him being in Arizona, but he will still probably be a first round pick in a 10 person draft - or maybe late first round or early 2nd

I have a hard time ignoring the fantasy mantra 'you just don't keep a TE'. If Brees was still there, I'd consider it more than I am right now. That's a tough one, though.

Chad Johnson. Unless he gets hurt there's really no way he doesn't have a huge year.
