Anyone read the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons?

I just started reading Hyperion. Pretty good so far

yeah i read the first two books. The first was the best by far. The second was just ok. And reading the reviews of the later ones kinda sapped my motivation to finish the series. The shrike are pretty bad ass.

Yeah i'm only about 60 pages in right now. Havent even met the Shrike yet..
