Worried parents
Ok, so I work as a facilities assistant at a private entertainment industry college, where we run in classes in Audio, Music, TV, Animation and Event Management.
The Administration building is closed on the weekends, and the facilities building runs on skeleton staff. I happen to be one of two staff members on today, and I'm manning the fort, sitting here in the assistant's office. In the last hour, I've recieved two phone calls - one from a parent who wanted to let his son (who is in the tv studio here) where he will be. The other, was from the worried parents of a girl in the first year, who was on an excursion which involved an overnight stay somewhere and was meant to be home by midday today. It is now 4pm, and he was asking for the phone number of whoever took them on the excursion as he could not reach her mobile phone. What would you do in that situation? I gave them the phone number of the person whom I think is the new head of music, but for some reason I doubt it was actually him who went with the students. There's not a great deal I could do, really - but if this girl turns up missing and/or dead, then I'll feel partly to blame. |

Its funny that you just posted this thread title because I'm at my parents house right now. Mum just saw me looking through mydeathspace.com and got concerned that I was suicidal.

Hrm. Our Marketing/Promotions girl has just walked in, but I doubt she would know anything about it, and I don't have the number of this girl's parents anyway.
