If I go out to a restaurant, I always tip 20% (sometimes more, depending on the situation and service) if it's decent. If it's shit, I give less... If I get food DELIVERED, I don't tip a lot... Especially if I get a pizza. I'm already getting over charged for the pizza, they tack on a $2 "Delivery Charge" and they pay their drivers for gas, anyway. If we get a $20 order of pizza + tax + delivery charge, then it's usually around what? $24? I'll give the guy $2. It's not like he MADE the pizza. He had to walk up one flight of stairs. Fuck that.

I hate it when people come into my work (Starbucks), order about 50 drinks and don't leave a dime in the tip jar. Fuck them.

Tipping isn't required here really but we usually tip one or two quid.

What I tend to do if the order comes to like £18 is that I give them a twenty, and if they say thanks and start walking away I ask for my change, but if they go in their pocket to get me change I let em keep it. I don't like people who just make assumptions. I started doing this cause one night someone took a £20 and said thanks and the order was only like £16 - fucking chancer.

I never thought of it that way. At a restaurant, waiters get taxed on 10% of what they sell, and when you buy tons of stuff they have to work harder - but delivery people don't really do anything extra whether you order 1 pizza or 4
