Default what's the best way to cool off beer?

i heard spinning it in ice works better than having it just sit in the freezer

does adding salt to the water do anything? why?

and how long to the various methods take?

i forget how long it takes in the freezer/ice box because i'm usually busy doing other things instead of timing it.

spanx in advance

you could add salt to the water to make it colder but you would want de-icing salt--I don't really think the deiodized salt in your salt shaker will work very well.

umm why dont you just stick a couplein your ice box for a couple minutes and leave the others in the fridge to cool down normally.

or if you are really intense you can get a cup of ice and pour the beer into it, you just have to drink it fast before the ice starts to melt.

ummm the box of ice cubes... probably 5 minutes? the freezer takes a while unless it's full of stuff. stuff tends to cool down easier by surface to surface contact than by surface to air contact

I don't really know, cant you just keep checking on it? I would say 5-10 minutes in a water and ice mixture.

or crushed ice would work well. just as little air contact as possible because air is a shitty insulator

How could someone give you an estimate more accurate than your own when we have no idea

a. The temperature of the beer
b. The condition of your freezer
c. The volume of beer
d. How cold you even want it

a. roomtemperature
b. standard freezer temperature? who knows that!
c. they're 12oz cans 3 in the ice box and 4 in the door
d. cold enough to hide the ass/urine/crap taste of warm beer.

You could go back in time and not be a dipshit who forgot to put their beer in the fridge.

I'm serious. I got one as a gift a couple of years ago. If your city is a dry city, it could help your situation.

Sorry for trying to solve your problems.

maybe you could go back in time and prevent your birth by showing your parents what an utter failure at life you are.

anyway, you guys sucked and brady was the best help and thanks.

next time i'm just going to put one in the beer mug, 3 in the ice box, 2 in the door of the freezer, and the rest in the refridgerator. that should work out fine

where is jczeroman when you need him!!!!!!!!
