Not that I believe it, but would I be the first male ever to say 'tits are overrated' if I did?

They are overrated.

I've been looking up info the past couple weeks over reduction surgery. I think I've decided on it, and am going to see about getting it done around christmas. I'm tired of my back always hurting and not being able to jog or exercise without my boobs hurting, etc etc. My doctor said she would recommend I get it done... it's a scary procedure though

One of my friends just got it done actually and she said it was HORRIBLE horrible horrible, but now that she's healing up she can already start to feel the weight being lifted off of her (literally). But she has to have tubes and drainage shit coming out of her, she's on tons of pain meds and she said when they were doing the surgery she thought she was going to freak out - but in the end she said it was well worth it.

Not to scare you out of it, just realize it's a pretty painful procedure and be prepared for it. I feel so bad for her having to go through all of that but I'm sure she's going to feel so much better.

Some girl stacy and I know had it done.

She said she learned a good lesson, to never have a voluntary surgery ever again for anything.

Yeah, what I've looked up that's pretty much standard and that's what's freaking me out... but to be a B or C cup, that would be freaking fantastic. I think it would be worth it. But then there's issues also with not being able to breastfeed - but I never really thought I would do that anyway... I wasn't breast fed. A lot of what I've read is women freaking out about not being able to do that.

I think this is my most promising one:

and I like that one the most because it's seamless, and it seems to be lightly padded? It's similar to the VS ones I have but is available in my size. I think I am going to bookmark it and try to order it. They have a Fredericks in the mall that is practically abutting my new apartment complex, but I dont know if they would keep this kind of size in stock. I'll haveto check it out

Yeah this is her livejournal entry about it:

My back was immediately relieved of pain once the surgery was done, but of course now I'm left with these cuts and bruises in trade. The medicines are helping of course, but there are a couple of times a day where my left breast feels like it's ripping on the crease. So yeah, it hurts. I have tubes on each side of me that come out and release fluids (plasma and other crap) from my body into these drain bags. I think those drains are what bother me the most out of it all. At first I was just overwhelmed with everything and couldn't help but feel well... helpless and cry. Having my mom and sister here helped though.

I just know that I'm never having an elective surgery ever again. ever.

....

Makes me feel all gross thinking about it but if you can go through with it then I'd say go for it!

Yeah I mean, I can't say finding a 32dd is going to be easy, but they do exist and you're most likely to find them in places like that. And most places aren't going to carry those sizes in the stores just because there's so few people who have to have that size. But I mean what I do is I just find something I like and stick with it, hopefully one of those will work out for you, at least they don't seem to be too frilly and they're pretty much normal bras.

A friend of mine had it done too, she had no problems, has very small scars and is really happy with it.

it would be really easy to have a tailor make the band a little smaller for you. since i know you're short like me, i know you're surely used to having everything made shorter for you, and i know they'd fix your bras, too. good tailors are awesome.
