My greatest fear is of being kidnapped and forced to watch as all the people I love and care about are brutally tortured to death, and having their dying screams and pleas for mercy and death, and the images of them writing in horrible agony, seared into my mind for the rest of my (doubtlessly short) life.

If I was old and alone, I'd be grateful for the oranges to keep me company.

Probably having all of my loved ones murdered before me. But then again, it's only my own ego that's affected by that.
Maybe being tortured to death? It's only a brief experience though, transient and empty like everything else experienced in life. I guess nothing. There's nothing to fear. Life is meaningless and pointless input that adds up to nothing but meaningless memories. And to all of you worried about dying alone, you WILL die alone. |

to die in an underwater research station when no one can come rescue me and the pressure is breaking all the outer rooms but I'm in the innermost one and it takes a few days to come to that point so I just sit in there and worry. actually, I'd probably shoot myself instead of waiting. If I had a gun. Maybe.

The "you" I am referring to is the "moderators." This phrase refers to people we all know, as they are everywhere. They are the people slow to get what they should already know. They take up space and breathe our air; so why are they moderators? The moderator, as I refer to one here, is the person who is stupid beyond reasons of ignorance. This person is one who seems incapable of comprehending. Moderators flourish in this college setting. Maybe college really is a filter bringing out the true in all of us. Moderators are everywhere I go. They are the students who sit around me and they are the people I pass on the sidewalks. While driving, they are the occupants of the car tailgating me and they are the ones who speed constantly but wait for the dashed yellow to pass. The list goes on. Moderators bring about frustration to those around. It is known that the people of this day have a difficult time learning or understanding the meaning taught by analogies. Research shows that many of us are not able to figure out connections. We cannot think critically. For most, the point needs to be clearly laid out in order for comprehension to have its chance. Often people will not see how that situation is similar to another. They have to learn in each situation what they could have generalized from just a few. Maybe this is what makes Moderators. If true, then moderators are poor at generalizing. They are poor at learning. From youth to now associations are how we learn. For moderators, the association does not exist until someone draws the connection via crayons. Moderators, and you know I am referring to you, may understand how things differ, but never could they depict why those same items are similar. Above or below, such does not matter. The point is that the person is still a stupid person. Something needs to change and soon. I am not in your shoes to make this change so you must. Be not afraid of showing yourself. Let me know how not stupid, or smart, you can be. I could just change my perception of you and that could be the change I seek. Anyone would know, stupid people included, that drawing a different picture of the same problem is only a different picture of the same problem. No progress has been made. The problem has not been resolved. I will admit that I could be the only one with experiences with Moderators like you, but it is rather unlikely. The moderators of my life could be different than the moderators of yours. Ask yourself, "Do I know these alleged Moderators? How often do I use these terms? Do I laugh uncontrollably at or become frustrated with Moderators? Are the Moderators I know unable to learn from one situation and carry it to the next?" The next step in the removal of Moderators could have been a starting point. I think it works better here as a reminder and as a way to illustrate an underlying insight. The next step is to ask yourself, "Am I a Moderator, or an Administrator"? ------------------ |

Like everyone, being alone my entire life. It's much more likely in my case than yours, though.
