Thumbs up All time favorite movie scenes

That part in Jaws. God that scene is still riveting, isn't? That part where they're all on the boat, and the whole thing with the USS Indianapolis.

"The thing about a shark, he's got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eyes. When he comes after you, he doesn't seem to be living until he bites you, and those black eyes roll over white. . . ."

That's such a good fucking scene. I love movies, I really do.

Oh yeah, the last scene in the Godfather. That scene makes the whole movie, which is really quite remarkable. Its fascinating, its this huge, winding, twisting, massive movie, and then it all just suddenly comes down to this tiny little, microscopic "No" out of Al Pacino's mouth. A little pin point that wraps the whole thing together and makes it all work.

When he plays "Marriage of Figaro" over the loud speakers in Shawshank Redemption.

The scene in the killer's basement in Silence of the Lambs. Its fucked up enough, but then when he turns the lights off and you see Clarice through the night vision goggles...god that's great. And exruciating. Yes.

The action scene near the end of Blazing Saddles that goes all through the movie studio.

The end of Willy Wonka.

The end of Old Yeller. http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/frown.gif

The "Fuck" part of planes trains and automobiles.

Ok, your turn.

Practically every scene in that movie is classic.

Bohemian Raphsody, "I got you a gun rack", Ed O Neil talking to the camera...

The second half of 2001. All of it. Beginning from when HAL is taken apart to the end of the movie, I cannot look away.

i love the lawnmower scene from dead alive. and then the scene where the zombie freak gets impaled on the light bulb and lights up from within. that movie has SO much gore. i fucking love it.

and then i think maybe the scene from henry fool when he runs into the bathroom cause he has the shits and parker posey's character is in there. i <3 that sick scene.

and the scene from half baked where brian is telling the story of killer. and the scene where whathisface quits his job at the burger joint.

and the opening scene from happiness with jon lovitz. when he snatches back the ashtray from the chick.

and the courtroom scene from freeway. where vanessa is screaming about bob wanting to sex her dead body.

Any scene in fight club but the best two are when Tyler is doing his karate thing and when they have their first fight.

And in Pulp Fiction where Vincent Vega wipes the blood off his hands on the towel.

The "now" scene in Spaceballs.

Most all displays of yuppie madness in American Psycho.

The Danny Devito + Kevin Spacey vs. New Guy showdown at the end of The Big Kahuna.

I've noticed that a whole lot of people here seem to to dislike the Fifth Element. but one of my all time faves is when the fight scene is happening while the Diva is singing. yeah, that's cool

and the opening of Star Wars: A New Hope, with the huge Star Destroyer shooting at the Rebel Blockade Runner from over the camera-genius
