Dream thread

last night i had a dream that my apartment was messier than it really is, and i suggested to my roommate that we try to get it cleaned up over the weekend. as we're not exactly the best of friends, she replied "oh... yeah, i meant to tell you, i'm actually looking for a new place, so i'm not going to help clean" to which i replied "good", since it was nice to know she was leaving.

well apparently that set her off, and she got this wounded and then enraged look, i rolled my eyes and went to the shower, and i heard her through the closed door making this banshee-like scream!

when i got out of the shower there were these microscopic cats that had snuck in under the crack beneath the door, and they were actually baby tigers. one was a jaguar, black. and one took a tiny crap on the floor. i got annoyed and told her to clean up her baby tiger crap, and then a goat walked through the room. i started to get irate.

i counted 2, then 4, then 6 dogs! running around, slobbering, i even saw two of them humping, i nearly threw up. about seven cats fell out of a drawer, and then goat ran through the room again while my roommate howled with laugher. i was so furious!

i went to the landlord and asked if this was grounds for immediate eviction, but she kind of morphed into my grandmother and so we sat down and ate some frosted flakes out of old decorative bowls. then she turned back into the landlord, and since the door was open and people were walking by, i was sure to loudly announce my roommate had spawned a veritable petting zoo in our apartment in a matter of minutes, and that surely there must be some recourse. she didn't really say anything of consequence, and i left feeling frustrated.

back at the apartment there were even more dogs, and the microscopic cats that were tigers and jaguars had grown in size, though not full size, and there was more animal crap on the floor, hair everywhere, and the smell was overpowering.

as i drove through town (some weird town i've never been to) on my way to work, there was this massive audio/visual billboard and some caller was calling in to tell howard stern about this evil roommate who had created all these animals to sabotage her roommate and make him miserable! everywhere i went people were like, oh man, you're that guy! the one with the satanic roommate who's filled your apartment full of animals. it really sucked

i had a dream about you the other day liquid j. i'm in a hurry and dont have time to go into detail but it involved you moving to houston and then you invited me to you apt to show your automatic rifle collection. and your roommate really really hated me

aw man! i woudln't ever have rifles, and the next time i move, i'm not doing the roommate thing, so you woudln't have to worry about any roommate hating you, or any guns either

five years ago i had a dream that my best friend died. in this dream i saw his casket and his mother was crying. i called him the next morning and told him about it. he just kind of laughed and said yeah right. that following weekend he was shot and killed in his van. i miss him alot.

thats the coolest dream ive heard in a long time (to the OP).

i used to remember all of my dreams to the smallest detail because i'd write them down as soon as i woke up. now i just wake up and immediately "think, fucking hell now i have to drive to work in shitty ass traffic and its probably raining!!"

so.. i have nothing to contribute. carry on, everybody

weird. I had a dream involving animals as well, though they weren't microscopic.

I dreamt I was in my room, but the bedroom was from my old apartment. the bed was larger than normal, and there were these two gay guys in there, friends of my ex. somehow they had gotten there and they were devil worshippers, having spell ability and causing stuff to fly around the room. this ability of theirs intimidated the hell out of me and is probably how they ended up at my place.

so then they tell me to eat some ribbons... and there's a pile of multi-colored ribbons made of silk or whatever lying on the bed. I notice they're immediately going after the magenta ones. so I chase a couple of these ribbons off the side of the bed, putting them in my mouth and pretending to eat them. at this point, I notice there's a banner with all the differently-colored ribbons on them, with for example, "magenta = 2", "green = 6".. in fact, a great deal of them had equaled 6. I figured out that these were the number of ribbons one would have to eat in order to fall into a deep sleep. I'm thinking "yeeeaaaah right, buddy! I'm gonna fall asleep and these pirates are gonna plunder my booty!", so I act groggy like I was sleeping on the side of the bed, and tell them I'm going to take a piss. I walk out into the hallway, and somewhere along the way, it morphs into my current place. I notice that the front door is wide open and three cats are lying in front of the door. I shoo them out and close the door, then noticing that the garage door is also open. I shut that one and then walk back, telling them they had to leave. they kept insisting they were too tired, but I told them I didn't care and that I had found a dead raccoon out in the living room... as if that was justification for them having to leave.

it was at this point that the dream ended, because I woke up.

OH! I remember another one from last night.

I had just rented a car, and I decided to go to Europe (I don't know WHERE in Europe). so I took this car, which turned out to be a white van, there with me. I ended up making a trip somewhere and coming back, it was hard to locate the place I was staying. somehow, my friend had told me "it's near a mcdonalds!", but I crossed this set of railroad tracks and there were mcdonald's EVERYWHERE. there were at least four on the left-hand side and four on the right, and when I turned the corner, there were STILL more.

I ended up seeing the place on the right-hand side, but instead of driving all the way up the street with a slight hill (which looked oddly similar to one I knew from California), I parked and started walking up. about a block up, I looked back and decided it would be a better idea to park in one of the many mcdonald's parking lots, so I walked back... and the damn van was dented in and lying on its side! so I pushed it over and drove it back up the hill despite the flat tire. this is where the dream ended.

The other night I dreamt I was in a sequal to Little Monsters. The funny thing is is that I had this exact same dream yeeeaaaars back. It's rather unseemly how your subconcious mind can just conjure up things like that. I didn't write any of it down or anything so I can't really comment further.
