Thankee, well, I moved 200 miles down here into a rented flat with the wife when I left home, where I have lived since, now we're moving to this house but it's rented too.

I need to sort out a few things over the next few months and get my money right and shiz, and then I'm looking to buy next year.

"Black.White." is an FX miniseries. A black family and a white family live in the same house and they switch races... There are professional makeup people to turn the white family black when they go out and the black family white. They're supposed to be able to experience things differently and kind of understand what the other goes through.

But the only one that's really getting anything out of it is the white daughter. The white dad is refusing to believe any viewpoint but his own. The white mom's trying to get it (but being kind of insensitive on the way). They also pick fights with the white parents on everything-- but they definitely DO deserve it at least 70 percent of the time, though.

It's interesting. I'm TiVo-ing it and burning it onto a DVD for my Anthropology class- Race, Ethnicity, and Citizenship. It meshes really well with the coursework. So even though we probably won't get a chance to watch it in class this semester, future classes could watch it. I'm curious what the professor will think when she watches it.

I've been watching this show off and on too. It's kinda interesting...and that white guy is a complete moron. His daughter is really articulate and seems pretty smart, I wonder where she got it from.
