better to have loved and lost or never to have loved at all?

its weird, even though im going through a bit of heartbreak these days, i dont have any regrets. my last two serious relationships have been hampered by parents that think their daughters are too good for the world. and christ yeah, it hurts like hell, but i dont regret loving these girls. even with the pain i felt and feel afterwards, the time i had with both of those girls had me on a high i dont think id ever have without love.

and even though it hurts, it almost feels like the pain is just reminding me that im alive. that even when things can be so good, in a matter of a couple of days it can go to shit. thats just how life is, filled with shitty situations that you can't control. but you might as well take risks and live life to the fullest, even if it all might go to hell at the end of it. reminds me of that goo goo dolls song iris when that dude says "you bleed just to know you're alive." might not be the coolest song to use as a reference, but it's true.

so i guess im saying id rather have loved and lost then to have never loved at all, like the popular cliche goes. but im sure people would disagree.

glad it's not nuked, cause i used this cleanup thingie that deletes anything that firefox or IE would have saved in AutoComplete... i had tons of names, but they've all been erased from autocomplete and i don't remember them
