Default Man on Fire is my favorite movie to watch

not the best movie ive seen, but i really really like watching it. i could probably watch it all day.

i just found out yesterday that we have HBO, Showtime et al, so i spent the night watching The United States of Leland and The Notebook. i was on a Ryan Gosling fix.

anyway.

thats all, i guess

tony scott makes actions movies that look good. they are just great visual pieces. MoF and Domino are supposedly based on fact, but i am guessing that perhaps the only true thing is a name or two

i watched that movie with a group of about ten people. people got bored and started talking and whatnot, so just when denzel was going to explain to his son that he was going to give him his heart, i yelled "quiet! they're going to have a heart-to-heart!"

i guess you had to be there. they thought it was funny, at least.

I'm watching Man On fire as we speak, it's just started. I hope it's better then most of the DW films I've seen.

She is a pretty good kid actress, but in a few years she will be strung out on coke, so who cares.

Also, yes, Man on Fire is phenomenal, in my opinion, and the score is very good.

Also, the word genius is incredibly overused.

Tony Scott is a glorious lunatic

If Domino is any indication of where he's going, I expect him to ascend into the realm of pure explosive abstraction in a few years

Just car-like shapes combusting inward and outward at varying speeds for ten hours

Domino featured Tom Waits as a rock and roll desert prophet

Film is therefore exempt from criticism
