Question Ring Modulator Software???

hey hey!
i know sound forge has a buncha effects you can add to a sound file like distortion, reverb, chorus, etc... but does it have a ring modulator effect thingY???
if it doesn't, is there any piece of software that does have this?? any help would be great

i have a ring mod plugin for soundforge. but i'm a stingy bastard...

Just use distortion and turn the mids up and the treble and bass down. Tube screamer would work.

you might want to read up on what a ring modulator actually is. you're suggesting using a distortion pedal and messing with the EQ? LOL!!

Yeah shithead. I have a Green Ringer and a Gonkulator. It produces a very low frequency that is very midrangy. If i fuck with the EQ on my Xtortion pedal, i can get a similar effect.

...what? The closest I've got to a ring mod without a ring mod is turning the time control on my delay down to a couple of milliseconds. And what the hell is a 'midrangy low frequency' exactly?

finally, somebody else sees what i'm talking about.

a ring mod uses an internal oscillator to create new harmonics that correspond to the sum and differences of the frequencies of the input signal and the oscillator.

the point is, how the fuck can you claim to duplicate a modulation effect using only a distortion effect?
