what does everyone think of j mascis/his new album

i have not heard his newest album yet, has anyone??
i think it's called "free so free"
what do you think, should i pick it up? i enjoyed "more light".
i'm going to see him this friday at the black cat in dc.

I don't have More Light, but the few songs I've downloaded off of it are better than Free so Free. It's still really good though, it has the best guitar solo I've ever heard in my life-time which makes it worth getting.

I haven't heard his new album, but I saw him in a small venue in Deventer, my home town. He was on his own, and it was quite impressing what he could do with only one guitar. He only played 4 songs.

I haven't heard his new album, and the only Fog song I've heard is the one tacked on the end of the DJ best of.
As for Mascis himself, I think he's kind of a prick, but man, he's an amazing guitarist.
